Product architecture
The bones underneath the screens. Object models, primitives, surface hierarchy, naming. Where founder-led decisions become a system other people can build on.
Threewise embeds three senior product, UX, and design partners into your earliest stage — defining the architecture, shipping the MVP, and building the product muscle your team will eventually run on its own.
What goes wrong
Founders ship screens before architecture. Hire too early, or hire wrong. Burn the first eighteen months on a product that can't hold a Series A.
What we do instead
We sit beside three founders at a time, define the product foundation alongside them, and stay long enough to leave it standing — then hand the baton to the team they've grown.
A short list, on purpose. Each engagement ran long enough to leave a product the team could keep building on — and a senior practice they could keep operating.

No account layer, no junior production team handed off behind the scenes. You work with the three of us, every week, for as long as the engagement runs. Combined, we've shipped product at every stage from pre-seed to public — and we've built the practice we wish we'd had access to as founders.

We don't sell deliverables in a deck. We bring the practice of a senior product organization to a stage of company that shouldn't have to build one yet.
The bones underneath the screens. Object models, primitives, surface hierarchy, naming. Where founder-led decisions become a system other people can build on.
User behavior, market frame, and the smallest set of decisions that move you from a story to a defensible product shape. We pressure-test the thesis before anyone draws a screen.
Scope you can actually ship in a quarter — wireframes, core flows, dev-ready handoff. No fidelity theatre, no scope creep, no abandoned half-features.
Tokens, primitives, a component library, and the documentation that makes them durable. Built to grow with the product, not paved over at Series A.
Wireframes, inside pages, system mapping, spec drafts, content scaffolds — the production layer is AI-assisted. The judgment layer is human, senior, and ours.
Founder discovery, weekly product reviews, roadmap pressure-testing, hiring support. A repeatable cadence that turns the three of us into a senior product team you operate with.
We stay with one founder for six to twelve months — long enough to define the product, mature the practice, and hand the baton to the team they grew on the way.
01
Founder workshops, user behavior, product thesis. We pressure-test before anyone opens Figma.
02
Product surface, object model, MVP scope. The bones go in before the skin.
03
Core flows, design system v1, dev-ready handoff.
04
User feedback, scaling the surface. Roadmap pressure-tested weekly.
05
We help recruit the first product designer, PM, or systems lead.
06
Knowledge, documentation, decision-making transfer to your internal team.
Seed-stage founders can't afford to hire one excellent senior — let alone three. So they hire one generalist and call it product. We bring three lenses at the price of one hire, and the discipline of a senior org that doesn't exist yet.
The product systems lens. Object models, surface, naming, primitives — the bones underneath what users see.
The user lens. Psychology, motivation, how humans actually move through software — and what makes them stay.
The craft lens. Design systems, AI-accelerated production, the discipline of shipping fast without losing taste.
Two tracks, one practice. A partnership takes a seat for six to twelve months; a project takes the same seat for a few weeks. Four to five seats at a time — no more — so both get the same three partners, at the same standard.
Track 01
Every partnership starts with the same founder session; what comes after depends on what your product actually needs.
A senior product audit and strategy memo. Architecture, surface, MVP scope, and a written read on what to build, hire, and abandon.
We define and ship the MVP with you — architecture, flows, design system v1, dev-ready handoff. A product founders can put in front of users and capital.
The Glide Process in full. Three senior product partners embedded, AI-accelerated execution, weekly product reviews, hiring support, and an exit that hands the practice to your internal team.
Track 02
For funded teams with product and design in-house who need senior firepower on a single surface. Fixed scope, no retainer — you bring the problem, we bring the practice.
No. Agencies sell deliverables; we operate as the senior product layer of your company. The output looks like screens and systems, but the work is product judgment — what to build, what to cut, what to hire for, and when.
Because anything more turns us into the agency we're trying not to be. Embedded means real weekly time with each founder. The cap is what makes the practice work.
Yes — that's the Projects track. One scoped problem, a few weeks, no retainer. The catch: a project occupies one of the four to five seats while it runs, so the calendar is the constraint, not the scope. If the seat math works, we start fast.
Alignment. Embedded engagements run 6–12 months — long enough that the right structure isn't hourly. The equity says we're building toward the same outcome you are.
Often better. We work alongside the team you have, raising the ceiling on architecture, systems, and senior judgment. Many engagements end with us recruiting their replacement — or their first peer.
We handle dev-ready handoff and partner closely with your engineering team. For founders without one, we maintain a short bench of dev partners we've worked with before.
Ninety minutes with the three of us. Bring the product idea, the hires you're weighing, and the open questions. You'll leave with a written read on architecture, scope, and the cleanest path to your MVP — whether or not we end up working together.
